the heart of atvara
At atvara, our hosts are here to ensure every guest experience feels seamless and welcoming. Warm, knowledgeable, and caring, they support you from the moment you arrive—whether you’re scheduling a class, checking in, or preparing for a float or salt therapy session.
Beyond guidance and check-in support, our hosts help maintain the studio as a calm, inviting space that always feels ready to receive you. They are also well-versed in atvara’s offerings and wellness services, available to answer questions and help you feel fully supported throughout your time with us.
Meet our hosts
Cindy
Atvara Manager, Host & InstructorCindy resides in Kernersville, NC and has a long history in health and wellness. She is an avid gardener and a thirteen year cancer survivor/thriver using only natural treatments. As an Alternative Medicine Adviser she has a background in Holistic Medicine, which includes: Aromatherapy, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, and Ayruveda.
Her passion is to share her knowledge and experience to bring health, healing, and balance by using an integrative approach for body, mind, and spirit by emphasizing proper nutrition, gut health, supplementation, herbal remedies, body movement, essential oils, meditation, and breathing.
Cindy is also a Norwex Consultant, teaching people how to radically reduce chemical use in their homes and personal care which directly effects their health.
In 2017, Cindy retired from 27 years of teaching, and started part time at the studio in early 2018. Her interest in natural medicine fits perfectly in the atmosphere at Atvara.
Yoga has always been a part of Cindy's life, but she had never experienced "hot yoga" until coming to the studio with her daughter. Cindy commented, how had she missed out on this so long! What wonderful healing body therapy! Cindy is thrilled to be part of the Atvara team and enjoys interacting with all who enter this relaxing and restorative place.
