The Infrared Sauna

Your sanctuary for deep heat healing and detoxification.

The Infrared Sauna Experience is a multi-sensory wellness ritual designed to restore, rejuvenate, and elevate your well-being from the inside out. Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, far infrared technology uses gentle radiant heat—similar to the beneficial infrared warmth naturally produced by the sun, without harmful UV exposure to warm the body directly.

As your core temperature rises, circulation increases, muscles and joints relax, and a deep, cleansing sweat helps support the body's natural detoxification processes. The combination of far, mid, and near infrared wavelengths works synergistically to enhance recovery, restore balance, and support overall wellness. Many guests find relief from everyday aches, pains, tension, and stiffness while enjoying a profound sense of calm and renewal.

Every detail of the experience is intentionally designed to engage the senses. Breathe in mineral-rich salt-infused air (optional), immerse yourself in soothing chromotherapy light, and connect your favorite music, meditation, or podcast through the premium sound system. As warmth envelops the body and the outside world fades away, the nervous system is given space to settle, reset, and restore.

The result is more than a sauna session—it's a deeply restorative escape that supports respiratory wellness, recovery, relaxation, and whole-body vitality, leaving you feeling lighter, clearer, and renewed.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Far infrared sauna therapy uses gentle radiant heat to warm the body directly, increasing circulation, easing muscle and joint tension, and promoting a deep, detoxifying sweat. This soothing heat supports relaxation, recovery, and whole-body wellness from within.

  • Far infrared therapy uses gentle, radiant heat similar to the natural infrared energy produced by the sun—an essential form of warmth found throughout nature and everyday life. Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, infrared heat directly warms the body, increasing thermal energy in muscles, joints, and tissues for a deeper, more effective experience.

As this deep heat penetrates the body, it supports circulation, encourages muscle relaxation, eases tension in joints, and promotes the body’s natural detoxification process through a healthy, cleansing sweat. Many guests also experience relief from everyday aches, pains and stiffness, along with a profound sense of calm as the nervous system begins to downshift.

Infrared wavelengths work across different depths, with far infrared delivering the most therapeutic warmth, while near and mid infrared enhance and amplify the overall benefits. The result is a soothing yet powerful full-body experience that supports recovery, balance, and whole-body wellness from the inside out.

  • Halotherapy is a natural wellness practice that uses finely dispersed salt particles to support respiratory health, skin clarity, and overall well-being. Inspired by the microclimate of natural salt caves, it recreates an environment where mineral-rich air can be gently inhaled to help clear the airways, reduce congestion, and support easier, more open breathing.

Within the far infrared sauna experience, halotherapy enhances the benefits of deep radiant heat. As your body warms and begins to sweat—supporting natural detoxification and circulation—the salt-infused air works in tandem to support the respiratory system and promote a sense of internal clarity and ease.

The result is a deeply immersive experience that goes beyond traditional heat therapy. You’re not just relaxing—you’re breathing in mineral-rich air, releasing tension through sweat, and allowing both body and breath to reset in a calm, restorative environment designed for full-body renewal.

  • Halotherapy (also called dry salt therapy) is designed to support respiratory health, skin clarity, and overall wellness by exposing the body to a micro-environment of finely dispersed salt particles, similar to the air found in natural salt caves.

    Here are the core benefits:

    Respiratory support
Helps open airways and may ease congestion, making breathing feel clearer and more effortless. Often used to support those dealing with seasonal allergies, sinus irritation, asthma symptoms, or general respiratory sensitivity.

    Natural anti-inflammatory effects
Salt particles may help reduce inflammation in the airways and respiratory tract, supporting easier breathing and overall comfort.

    Skin health support
Can be beneficial for skin conditions such as dryness, irritation, eczema, or acne by helping to cleanse and balance the skin’s surface.

    Mucus clearance & cleansing
Helps thin and mobilize mucus in the respiratory system, supporting natural clearing and improved airflow.

    Immune system support (indirect)
By supporting respiratory function and reducing irritants, it may help the body better maintain overall balance and resilience.

Deep relaxation & nervous system calming
The quiet, mineral-rich environment encourages slower breathing, reduced stress response, and a sense of calm and grounding.

  • Chromotherapy is the use of targeted colored light wavelengths to support balance in the body and mind. Within a far infrared sauna session, it works in harmony with deep radiant heat to enhance relaxation, calm the nervous system, and create a more immersive, restorative experience.

  • Chromotherapy uses specific wavelengths of visible light to influence mood, energy, and the body’s natural regulatory systems. While research is still emerging, it’s commonly used in wellness settings as a supportive, non-invasive modality to enhance relaxation and overall well-being.

Here are the commonly associated benefits:

    Nervous system support & relaxation
Certain colors, especially blues and greens, are used to promote calm, reduce perceived stress, and support a more relaxed mental state.

    Mood enhancement
Bright or warm tones like yellow and orange are often associated with uplifted mood, energy, and emotional balance.

    Energy balance & restoration
Different colors are believed to help rebalance energetic states—encouraging either stimulation or relaxation depending on the wavelength used.

    Stress reduction
The gentle visual stimulation can help quiet mental overactivity, especially when combined with environments like saunas or float therapy.

    Mind-body awareness
Chromotherapy can enhance mindfulness by creating a soft focal point, helping guests become more present in their body and breath.

    Enhanced spa experience
In combination with heat therapies (like Far Infrared saunas), it deepens the sensory experience, making relaxation feel more immersive and intentional.

  • Absolutely yes, but how you do it depends on your objectives.  The physical benefits of a sauna bath occur regardless of the time of day.

The mental benefits can vary.  Sauna sessions in the morning can help clear the mind and put you in a positive mood for the day.  Sauna sessions during the day can help interrupt the stress pattern of the days activities and enable a reset as you move into the rest of the day.  Sauna sessions in the evening can be a great ritual to prepare for a restful night of sleep.

The best time to use the sauna, is the time that your schedule affords it to be a regular routine for you.

    How

If you are new to sauna baths, target 30 minutes with heat at 110 - 130 for your first 3 sessions. This lets the body gently become familiar with the experience of a sauna bath.

From that point, pay attention to your body and mind as you determine you favorite sauna setting (time and temperature) within a max time of 45 minutes and a max temperature of 150 degrees.  Therapy is optimized when you have induced sweating and then remain in the sauna for 20 minutes more.  The more you sauna, the faster your body will cooperate with the sauna to induce sweating.

Disrobe as much as you are comfortable with.  The infrared provided by the sauna panels is beneficial for your skin and is the main component of this therapy, so let as much of your skin participate as possible.

Towels are your friend.  A towel on the bench protects the sauna and maintain sanitation from one session to the next.  Your body towel should be used to wipe sweat several times during your session as this will cause your body to sweat even more to replace the moisture.

After your sauna, wipe down thoroughly with your towel.  Give your body 15 minutes to continue processing the therapy you just provided it and to adjust to normal temperatures.  If you wish to shower, avoid a hot shower.  Room temperature water or cold water can provide a contrasting experience for your skin and body that is therapeutic as well.

Hydrate 24X7 and during the session.  But be careful to not cause an interruption to your session by having to visit the restroom during your session time.

    Summary

Find a time in your schedule when you can sauna regularly

Find a temperature and time that let you induce a sweat and then have 20 minutes remaining in the sauna

Expose as much skin as you can, and wipe off the sweat a few times during your session

Thoroughly wipe yourself off after your sauna.  Optionally shower 15 minutes later with room temperature or cold water.

Hydrate all the time and during your session, but avoid restroom breaks that interrupt your session.
